PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF EAST HILLS Bid for Electrical Installation to Security Cameras The Incorporated VILLAGE of East Hills (VEH) seeks bids from Nassau County licensed electricians to install the following:Electricity must be provided to nine sites in the Village of East Hills and trenching provided with direct burial cable, fuse holders, fuses, conduit, flexible nonmetallic conduit, all necessary fittings, labor and material to complete nine installations. Specifically, at each location: Trenching must be completed from closest utility pole or village owned power source to camera location; PVC risers must be run on utility pole to secondaries; 1-110-volt circuit must be provided in each site within line rain tight fuse holder and 10-amp fuse. Successful bidder must trench to village camera location and run non-metallic liquid tight up pole to camera location and provide wire and wiring for outlet at camera equipment location. All materials must be included in price bid. The Successful bidder will complete the installations by March 31, 2021. All bidders must have a current Nassau County License; have been in business for at least ten years and have the necessary knowledge and experience to install electricity to security cameras. The electrical company must be located within 25 miles of the Village to ensure prompt service. Copies of the bid package, which contains all the specific requirements, may be picked up at Village Hall at 209 Harbor Hill Road, East Hills, New York commencing February 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. up to and including March 10, 2021 at 3pm. All offers are subject to final approval by the Board of Trustees of East Hills, which shall determine the lowest responsible and responsive bid in accordance with Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law. VEH also retains the right at any time before acceptance in its sole discretion to reject or accept all proposals, or cancel or postpone the bid for any reason it deems appropriate. All bids are subject to prevailing wage mandates. Bids will be accepted at Village Hall, 209 Harbor Hill Road, East Hills, NY 11576, up to 9:59 am on March 11, 2021. At 10:00 a.m. on March 11, 2021 no further submissions will be accepted and any late submissions after 10:00 a.m. will be rejected, unopened and returned to the Bidder. The Board will not waive this requirement which they deem is material. Bids will be opened on March 11, 2021 at 10:00am. All bidders must sign and notarize an anti-collusion statement and all other documents required. All bidders must comply with the rules and regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, and payable to the Inc.
