VILLAGE OF KINGS POINT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting will be held by the Board of Appeals of the Village of Kings Point at the Village Hall, 32 Steppingstone Lane, Kings Point, New York 11024, on 24th September 2019 at 7:00 p.m. The Board will immediately adjourn for advice of counsel and, at 7:30 p.m., the Board will commence a public hearing for the consideration of the following application and such other matters as may come before the Board:
CASE NO. PRBZA20190314 Kourosh Mehrnia, as owner, with regard to the premises at 8 Woodcrest Road, Kings Point, New York, for a variance from the following section of the Code of the Village of Kings Point for a proposed accessory structure:
§161-23(A)(1), which provides that no building and no part of a building shall be erected within or shall project into the front or rear yards. The applicant is proposing a single story accessory structure (a pool cabana) to be located in the southern front yard.
The premises are shown on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map as Section 1, Block 76, Lot 18, and are located in a Residence A zoning district of the Village of Kings Point.
The application and accompanying exhibits are on file in the office of the Village Clerk and may be inspected during normal business hours.
At said hearing, all parties in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard.
In the event that anyone needs a special accommodation for a disability, such person is requested to contact the Village Clerk at least five days before the hearing.
