VILLAGE OF KINGS POINT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting will be held by the Board of Appeals of the Village of Kings Point at the Village Hall, 32 Steppingstone Lane, Kings Point, New York 11024, on 09th April 2019 at 7:00 p.m. The Board will immediately adjourn for advice of counsel and, at 7:30 p.m., the Board will commence a public hearing for the consideration of the following application and such other matters as may come before the Board:
CASE NO. PRBZA20190087 Application of Darius Schwartz, as owner, with regard to the premises at 157A West Shore Road, Kings Point, New York, for a variance from of the Code of the Village of Kings Point to permit a new tennis court and fencing as an accessory to a single-family dwelling with insufficient side yard setbacks:
1. A north side yard setback of 16 feet, instead of the required 20 feet; and
2. A south side yard setback of 9 feet, instead of the required 20 feet.
The premises are shown on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map as Section 1 Block 202, Lot 32 in a Residence A2 zoning district of the Village of Kings Point.
The application and accompanying exhibits are on file in the office of the Village Clerk and may be inspected during normal business hours.
At said hearing, all parties in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard.
In the event that anyone needs a special accommodation for a disability, such person is requested to contact the Village Clerk at least five days before the hearing.
