Hofstra University

Rishab Bhatnagar of Great Neck, a senior majoring in Japanese and pre-health studies, was one of nine students from around the country to advance to the recent finals of the J. Live competition at George Washington University in Washington, DC.

J. Live, Japanese Learning Inspired Vision and Engagement, is a national, college-level language speech competition that emphasizes a comprehensive range of communication skills. 

Lehigh University

Quyuan Liu of Albertson graduated with a Master Acct & Info Analysis degree with a major in accounting and info analysis.

Northeastern University

SUNY Oneonta

Scott McCann of Port Washington, who is studying music industry, was one of 32 SUNY Oneonta music industry students who got to rock out alongside the field’s finest last week at a global music products trade show in Anaheim, Calif.

New York Institute of Technology

New Hyde Park’s Kevin Chen, a B.Arch student of architecture, went to Mexico City and Oaxaca, Mexico in January to to work with local masons to learn the art of brick-laying and other crafts.

Ithaca College
