Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation’s Golf Classic at Sands Point Golf Club raises over $175K

The Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) recently held its 25th annual Golf Classic at Sands Point Golf Club, raising more than $175,000. This year’s event honored Daniel Castellano, the managing partner at Castellano, Korenberg & Company.

The funds raised will be used to support the foundation’s wide array of critical programs and services for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. LIAF’s caring professionals and cutting-edge services provide support, guidance, and comfort for both the diagnosed individual and their caregivers. Its specialized programs include day programs for the early, moderate and late stages of the disease, an In-Home Respite program, transportation, caregiver support groups and trainings, Memory Cafés, a music and memory program, Brain Fitness Workshops and a Saturday Day program.
