Manhasset Mothers’ Group kicked off the season with their annual cookie exchange on Dec. 5.

The local moms took a break from the holiday rush and shared cookies and holiday spirit with both old friends and new friends.

The event was organized by event chair Amy Martella and was graciously hosted by member Patty Rudner.

The group also held their annual breakfast with Santa on Dec. 9.

Families gathered to celebrate the season at the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club.

Event Chairs Andriana McMahon and Claire Leiser worked together to create the holiday magic. Old friends reunited and many new friends were made during the fun-filled holiday brunch.

The families enjoyed a delicious brunch and participated in festive crafts, dancing and games.

The highlight of the children’s morning was a visit from Santa. Santa took photographs with the families and brought a special gift for every child in attendance.

Participating families generously donated gift cards to the SCA’s Project Share Gift Program, which assists families in need within Manhasset.
