Victoria Michelle Koutris and Chris Stanley Neamonitis were married on June 22 at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City. The Rev. John Vlahos, a Greek Orthodox priest and dean of the cathedral, officiated, with the Rev. John Lardas, another Greek Orthodox priest, also presiding. The reception took place at the iconic Gotham Hall on Broadway.

The bride, 28, is an associate director of sports strategy at Optimum Sports, a division of Omnicom Media Group in New York. She graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is a daughter of Pavlos and Sophia Koutris, small business owners of Westwood, Mass.

The groom, 36, is a trader at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, specializing in foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives, where he has worked for the past 15 years. Neamonitis was born and raised in Munsey Park. He graduated with honors from the Stern School of Business at New York University and was his class’ commencement speaker. He currently serves as the chairman of the Torch Fund at Chaminade High School in Mineola.

He is the son of Stanley and Litsa Neamonitis of Manhasset. The groom’s late father was a 40-year veteran of the commodity trading industry, holding senior positions at Swiss-trading conglomerate Glencore Ltd.

The couple first met during Holy Week in the spring of 2016 at the same cathedral in which they are to be married. Their first date was the following week at the historic Pete’s Tavern in Gramercy Park. They currently reside on the Upper East Side in Manhattan.
