The Kiwanis Club of County Seat, Mineola held its installation of the 2018-19 officers and board of directors at its regular weekly meeting on Monday morning. The Kiwanis year runs from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 of the following year to enable clubs to develop and maintain service projects and fund-raising activities. Kiwanis is an International Organization of more than 600,000 members in more than 80 different countries. Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children through local service projects and fundraising.
