Nassau County police are searching for a 15-year-old girl from Mineola who was reported missing on Oct. 24.
Ana Maria Hernandez was last seen at her Herricks Road home, according to detectives. A Nassau County Police Department spokeswoman said the case was reported by one of Hernandez’s parents.
Hernandez was described as a Hispanic female who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
A police spokeswoman said it is unknown whether Hernandez has gone missing before.
In the release, detectives ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911; all callers will remain anonymous.
