The Mineola Union Free School District congratulates Mineola High School senior Ava Williams, who was selected as a recipient of the 2019 Art Supervisors Association Scholarship.
The ASA is a professional organization of art supervisors and administrators who promote quality art instruction at all educational levels. Ava was honored in March at a ceremony at Farmingdale State College where her work is displayed. She will receive a $250 scholarship for her artwork, “Ava in Motion,” which is done in charcoal on paper.
