The New Hyde Park North Lions Club held its annual food drive at King Kullen in Garden City Park Nov. 3. The club collected non-perishable items that were dispersed to the local churches of the community who are in need of food. The New Hyde Park North Lions Club has been at the forefront of community service for years, Lions President Jeanne Dippel said. They are a group of 45 women who are very active in the community, she said. We are very proud of this, however, it wouldn’t be without the support and generosity of the community, she said.
