David DelSanto and Jennifer DeRocchis, trustees on the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Board of Education, are seeking re-election unopposed.

DelSanto and DeRocchis are running for three-year terms.

The public can vote on May 15 at Tully Park, along with voting on the $39,246,850 budget approved by the board last Monday.

The Sewanhaka Central High School budget vote is independent of the elementary district’s budget vote.

The Sewanhaka Board of Education is made up of representatives from the boards of the five elementary districts that feed into the high school district.

Currently, James Reddan is the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Board of Education member who serves on the Sewanhaka board.

The elementary boards officially decide who will serve on the Sewanhaka board after their July reorganization meetings.

The Sewanhaka Central High School District is proposing a $197,857,383 budget. The board will vote on whether to adopt the budget during its Wednesday meeting.
