New Hyde Park will unveil “one mile of fun” along Jericho Turnpike at the village’s 23rd annual Street Fair on Saturday, Sept. 15.

It will feature sidewalk sales, prizes and giveaways, a scavenger hunt and food from various nations, according to a village flier.

The street fair will stretch across Jericho Turnpike from New Hyde Park Road to Covert Avenue, plus parts of Lakeville Road, between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

In a letter to residents, Mayor Lawrence Montreuil said the village is “delighted” to renew its partnership with Northwell Health as the official sponsor of the street fair.

This is the fourth year the New Hyde Park-based health care conglomerate is serving as the main sponsor of the fair.

The street fair will feature the Northwell “Health and Wellness Pavilion,” according to the event flier.

There will be more than 150 specialty vendors and crafters at the fair.

There will also be children’s rides in the Central Boulevard parking lot, and musical entertainment at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Covert Avenue.

The band His Boy Elroy will perform between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., sponsored by the New Hyde Park Funeral Home and the Katie McBride Foundation.

This is the second year the New Hyde Park street fair has included live music.

The street fair rain date is Saturday, Sept. 22.

The neighboring Village of Williston Park is hosting its street fair on Sunday, Sept. 16.

The Village of Mineola is hosting its street fair on Sept. 23.
