A 28-year-old woman was found dead in a room at the Floral Park Motor Lodge at 30 Jericho Turnpike Sunday afternoon, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Officials said the woman, who remains unidentified, apparently died as a result of a homicide. The murder was reported to the Floral Park Police Department after 1 p.m. Sunday. Officials from the Nassau County Police Department said the investigation remained ongoing.
Efforts to reach a representative from the Floral Park Motor Lodge for comment were unavailing.
