After reading the biographies of all four parks commissioner candidates, I think we are lucky to have Marty Markson in the running. Not only does he have an accomplished career as an engineer and a business executive, he has also displayed his love and commitment to our parks by volunteering well over 10 years of service to Great Neck parks and open spaces.
He is a man of integrity who will bring his knowledge and experience to bear in protecting and improving our parks and ensuring that our tax dollars are spent wisely and responsibly.
I will be voting for Mr. Markson, I hope you will too.
