Three men caused $28,000 worth of damage to three school buses after breaking into Michael J. Tully Park in North New Hyde Park hursday morning, police said.

The men, seen on surveillance video, broke windows, flattened tires and damaged stop signs and safety equipment on the buses after forcing open the park’s gates at 1:45 a.m. Thursday, Nassau County police said.

They also damaged the booth at the park’s entrance when they tried to break into it, Nassau County police said.

The crime was reported later Thursday morning after someone saw the men on surveillance video, a police spokesman said. The damaged school buses are used for summer camps, he said.
