A Freeport man was charged on Thursday for a Mineola burglary.
Glen Williams Jr., 31, entered an unlocked apartment in a building on 140 Old Country Road, on Oct. 23, according to Nassau County Police. Williams fled the scene upon the 36-year-old female resident coming home and demanding he leave.
Police say no loss was reported.
Williams was located on Nov. 8 sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and South Main Street by Freeport police on routine patrol.
Williams is charged with burglary in the second degree and criminal contempt in the second degree.
