On May 17th 2011, we have an opportunity to make a difference for the community of Williston Park, and most importantly our children that attend the Herricks School District. It is for this reason that I’m supporting Jim Gounaris for Herrick’s school board trustee, and I urge you to do so too.
Jim’s life experience and history of service to the community provide him with the background to make the right decisions during this very difficult period of budget constraint. As a father of four children that currently attend Herrick’s schools he knows firsthand the many challenges that face our families, students, teachers and administrators.
His commitment to balancing fiscal responsibility with educational excellence along with his tenacity and willingness to get the job done make him the best choice for the Board. His intentions are to maintain the quality of our neighborhoods while finding new ways to make our excellent school system even better. As a parent of a graduate of Herricks High School I know how important this is.
It is for these reasons that I am proud to support Jim Gounaris for the position of Herrick’s school board trustee and urge all my friends to do the same on May 17 at the Herricks Community Center.
