The fourth Grade Chiefs Lacrosse Team went on the road for the first time this season and beat the Wantagh Warriors 8-5 on their beautiful turf field at Wantagh High School.

This brings the Chiefs undefeated season record to 4-0. All the boys played and participated in the victory.

The Chiefs offense was flying all over the turf field, moving the ball up and down the field with great speed against the Warriors.

Chiefs scoring was provided by Midfielders Michael O’Connell (2 Goals, 3 Assists), Matt Sluka (1 Goal), Darien Lloyd (1 Goal), Joey Ruscillo (1 Goal), Luke Baskind (1 Goal), and Chiefs Attackmen Marc Chiappone (1 Goal) and Ryan Dieguez (1 Goal).

Chiefs Midfielder’s Thomas Albig (1 Assist) worked the ball in the offensive zone with Chiefs Attackman Jack Obrien, Sean Browne and Ryan Calderone. Defensemen Lance Costa, Joseph Tallini and Richie Vento hounded the Warriors as Chiefs Goalie Matty O’Connell (6 Saves) used every part of his body to stop the ball and make saves.
