Nassau County police are searching for two armed men who robbed a Great Neck Verizon store Wednesday evening.

The two men, described as black males, entered the store at 164 Northern Blvd. at 6:28 p.m. and demanded the lone male employee and a female customer to the back of the store, police said.

The employee and customer were ordered to lay on the floor, police said, while the two robbers filled bags with tablets and smartphones.

Police said they did not yet have a total value for the stolen items.

The robbers then took off on foot eastbound on Northern Boulevard, police said.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

Police said one of the robbers was wearing a “tie closed” hooded sweatshirt covering his face, blue jeans and white sneakers, while the other was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, jeans and tan boots.

No further descriptions were available.

Anyone with information about the robberies can call 1-800-244-8477 to leave an anonymous tip.
