Roslyn’s Michael Brown has joined the litigation department at Uniondale-based Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., according to the firm.

He was a founding partner of Ohrenstein & Brown. Attorney Matt Bryant and Manfred Ohrenstein, of counsel, are also leaving Ohrenstein & Brown to join Ruskin Moscou Faltischek.

“Ruskin Moscou Faltischek is recognized as a leading law firm across the region,” Brown said. “I have always admired their work, including that of their unparalleled litigation department.  I look forward to working alongside my new colleagues.”

Before starting Ohrenstein & Brown, Brown was a senior trial attorney and deputy chief for the Office of the Special State Prosecutor for Corruption in the Criminal Justice System.

He graduated from New York University School of Law and started his career, which spans more than 40 years, at New York City-based Weil, Gotshal and Manges.

Brown has developed insurance program structures and represented insurers, brokers and insureds, according to Ruskin Mouscou Faltischeck.

“Manfred, Michael, and Matthew are each highly respected attorneys, joining Ruskin Moscou Faltischek following scores of high profile professional achievements and legal victories,” said Adam Silvers, Ruskin Moscou Faltischeck managing partner.  “We are delighted they will be joining our team and know that their addition will bring many new business partnerships and opportunities to the firm.”
