Three men injured in Roslyn collision

Three men were injured in a collision of a box truck and a van Wednesday afternoon in Roslyn, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s 6th Squad.

Detectives said a box truck driven by a 27-year-old man traveling eastbound on Old Northern Boulevard, east of Tatterson Street, collided with a Ford van driven by a 36-year-old man on April 14 around 4:49 p.m.

A 32-year-old male passenger in the Ford van and the operator of the box truck were both injured and transported to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Both men are currently in stable condition. The operator of the Ford van was also transported to an area hospital in critical condition, suffering from a head injury, broken ribs, and a severe laceration to his left elbow, and is currently in stable condition.

The victims’ names have not been released, and the department said in a statement that the investigation is continuing.
