In an exciting playoff game, the North Shore Vikings held their 7-0 lead in a historic Long Island Class IV championship game to defeat the Shoreham-River Wildcats to become the Long Island Champions!
On a chilly night at Stony Brook’s LaValle Stadium, the North Shore fans came out in force to cheer on their beloved Vikings! An early touchdown in the first quarter by Daniel Quigley along with an incredible defensive game allowed the Vikings to remain victorious.
Congratulations go out to the Vikings Football Team, Coaches, Cheerleaders, Pulse, HS Pep Band, Don Lang, Marge Anderson, the entire athletics department, and everyone who came out in the community to cheer on the North Shore Vikings! “This is a great win for our players, our coaches, our school, and our community,” said Don Lang North Shore’s Director of Athletics. “Thanks to all of the alumni, former players, and parents for all of the support throughout the season and championship run! It was a magical night!”
