The second annual Oktoberfest Celebration will kickoff on Friday, Oct. 4, at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square and continue on Saturday and Sunday at Eisenhower Park’s Kite Field.
“Nassau County’s second annual Oktoberfest Celebration is a wonderful opportunity to bring families together for a weekend of great culture, including traditional German food and beverages, live music and children’s activities,” said Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano.
The celebration begins at Plattduetsche from 6 . to 8 p.m. Friday night and moves to Kite Field -located at parking field 6A- from noon to 5 p.m. over the weekend. Admission is free.
