For the 15th consecutive year, students in Sewanhaka High School’s World Language National Honor Society demonstrated their generosity, holiday spirit and empathy for those less fortunate by participating in Operation Christmas Child, a program run by Samaritan’s Purse.

Students donated 50 shoeboxes filled with gifts for poor children. Honor Society adviser Carmen Graci proudly delivered the shoeboxes to Westbury Gospel Tabernacle in Westbury. Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has partnered with local churches around the world to deliver 157 million shoebox gifts to children in need in 160 countries.
