I find it quite ironic, as well as repulsive, that state Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso would seek out recognition for his family’s role in “saving a Jewish family from the Nazi regime…” when he himself supported the recent New York Reproductive Health Act that further promotes the killing of innocent unborn babies.
Did he seek recognition from the Pope for that as well?
Such a blatant example of a double standard and a self-promoting ploy for political gain. It’s too bad he did not follow in his father’s footsteps when he referred to his father’s actions by saying, “He did the right thing when the rest of the world went crazy.”
This is hypocrisy at its finest.
