I am not sure why anyone would imply that Brian Herrington is not around enough to be Mayor of Flower Hill. He is a very active presence in the community, especially Manhasset where he lives. I often see him running, riding bikes with his children or walking his Golden Retriever in the neighborhood. He coaches his son’s baseball team and on a weekly basis, he can be seen shuttling his children and several other kids he coaches to and from the fields.
In addition, I have personally seen him leaving events with family and friends over the years to field calls and run to meetings with residents. I know there were several nights over the years where he even spent hours on Sunnyvale sacrificing family time during the holiday season to help residents in the Port Washington area with traffic safety issues and was happy to do so.
Brian is always concerned when someone has an issue and goes above and beyond to help. I am not sure I know of a more committed and prepared individual to lead Flower Hill.
