Jack “Shady” Schnirman might want to make sure his own house is in order before he tries to criticize others.
Long Beach, under Schnirman’s tenure as city manager, has been filled with scandal after scandal, and ethical violation after ethical violation.
Wasn’t I reading just a few weeks ago that he was banned for life from the city managers organization for unethical behavior?
Hasn’t he been accused of using his appointed city manager office to further his own political career?
Wasn’t his tenure in Brookhaven, where he “cleaned up Republican corruption,” actually one of the most corrupt times in the town and led to the overwhelming victory of Ed Romaine, the current Republican Supervisor?
Schnirman is not well liked in his adopted home town of Long Beach, and has been trying to force the massively unpopular iStar Development down the resident’s throats.
How much did he get from the developers?
Schnirman seems to be the definition of a shady politician and a questionable character.
This man wants to be Nassau County comptroller?
I wouldn’t even trust him to run a lemonade stand.
