I attended the meeting at Great Neck House to hear the candidates for [Great Neck] Park Commissioner.
I’ve known Tina Stellato for several years as a neighbor and friend. I knew she’s smart and talented but I found out recently that she also is a political person with some good new ideas and an interest in running for park commissioner. We need more women willing to run for office. Brava Tina.
At the meeting Tina presented her ideas briefly and well, and when her opponent tried to go negative she never lost her composure.
There is nothing we heard about the job from her opponent that she cannot do. Tina is young, bright, accomplished, energetic and female. It’s time for a woman to bring her attributes to the Board of Great Neck Park Commissioners.
Vote for Tina Stellato in the election on Dec. 12.
