The election is this week and my letters to the Williston Times will diminish or end entirely. As a lifelong Republican, I have disagreed with your Op-ed pages most of the time and know that you lean left in most of your opinions.
However, I want to thank you for printing every letter that I have ever submitted during this election cycle without censoring one word. In fact, you added to my last paragraph this week and correctly gave the full title to the group that fashioned the Biden/Sanders Policy statement and enhanced my writing.
Freedom of the press is so important and we are seeing suppression of that important right by the mainstream media and papers around the country that used to be respected. It is frightening.
Please continue to be a shining example of fairness and light.
