At the opening of the first segment of the second Democratic debate, 10 candidates were lined up when the National Anthem was sung.
Nine of the candidates honored the anthem by placing their right hand over their hearts. One, an elected member of Congress, had the audacity to stand there with his hands clasped in front of him.
This individual is running to be president of these United States and doesn’t know that civilians honor the flag and the anthem by placing their right hand over their heart.
Representative Tim Ryan, even in the unlikely event you are the nominee, this Korean War veteran will never vote for you.
You dishonor your position as a congressman.
