Police arrest three in Manhasset for narcotics possession

Three people were arrested for possessing illicit drugs Thursday evening in Manhasset, according to a Nassau County Police detective.

During a traffic stop. police found two bags of pills that included meth and ketamine in the car the defendants were driving. Police initiated the stop when the car made an illegal turn from North Service Road onto Community Drive.

The vehicle the individuals were in was stolen from New York City, according to police.

Shawn McNeill, 40, of Riverhead, Victor Devagno, 60, of Oakland Gardens, and Michelle Cardwell, 28, of Brick, New Jersey were all arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The arrest occurred at 5:30 p.m., according to police.
