The Port Washington School District Board of Education will host a district Town Hall at Paul D. Schreiber High School at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the school’s cafeteria.

The evening’s agenda will include a presentation by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Mooney outlining what the district’s needs are in order to continue to excel in the future and the financial implications. The Legislative Task Force will also provide a brief recap on why Port Washington is unique and what the community needs to do to ensure that the district receives its fair share of state aid.

The board of education is hosting this Town Hall so that they can hear from the community. All residents are invited to attend this important and informative meeting where they will have an opportunity to ask questions and offer suggestions.

Port Washington is a highly desirable community and the school district has an outstanding reputation for providing a quality education to all students. The school district is supported using a combination of federal and state funding and local taxes.
