An alleged Queens drug dealer was arrested during a police investigation into a fatal overdose in New Hyde Park, police said last Tuesday.

Damiean Landell Johnson, 25, was in possession of 10 bags of Heroin and an additional quantity of Marijuana when arrested, police said.

According to Nassau narcotics and vice squad detectives, the arrest was made as part of the police department’s Operation Natalie, which is a crackdown on opioid sales in the county.

Detectives were investigating a fatal overdose in North New Hyde Park and said evidence linked Johnson to the death, police said.

Johnson charges include unlawful possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Johnson is set to return to the Nassau First District Court in Hempstead Friday and is represented by the Legal Aid Society Of Nassau County.
