Robert Zimmerman, political analyst and advocate, will lead a program, New Congress, New Year at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 48 Shelter Rock Road in Manhasset, on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 12:30 p.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
Zimmerman was nominated by President Obama to serve on the National Council on Humanities and was appointed by Gov. Cuomo to join a statewide commission charged with restructuring state government. He has also served as board member/advisor for the Museum of Natural History and The Kennedy Center, among many other institutions. He appears regularly on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC as a political expert.
