The members of American Legion Post 304 extend our sincere appreciation for the generous outpouring of donations from merchants, businesses, community organizations, and Manhasset residents for the replacement of the American Flags on the poles that line Plandome Road. The flags will be joined by the beautiful planters sponsored by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce.
The new American Flags and the Adopt-a-Pole flowers will be hung in time for Memorial Day and will remain throughout the season to beautify Manhasset. Both exemplify our pride and patriotism as well as our respect and love for those who served or are serving in our armed forces and those who gave their lives in the service of our country. As you view their beauty, please take a moment to remember very especially those men and women who never came home and join us as we march once again along Plandome Road for our Memorial Day Parade.
