I am writing to clarify representations made regarding why I am moving my office from one location to another. While the published article combines different ideas and thoughts in a manner that was completely out of context, on the issue of my office I am simply moving to another location in my district because doing so allows me to utilize more space at a lower rent.
I am saddened that this article perpetuates such characterization of my comments and I have always been and always will be honored to represent the Great Neck community. Rest assured, I have always and will always celebrate and applaud the diversity within Great Neck and I will continue to represent everyone in Great Neck and my entire Assembly district to the best of my ability regardless of where my office is located.
