To pray for something personal,see?
For whatever it was,
Though you might disagree
And hold a different policy ,
That was his right
In a democracy.
When Colin Kaepernick took the field,
The Constitution was also his shield
Believing ‘Justice for All’ just was.
Despite the critics he wouldn’t yield.
Others joined lest it be revealed
That freedom for some
Could be selectively repealed.
Although to the Great Again Leader
They had not appealed,
He pounced and announced
That the traitors be
Banished and flailed.
And as for ‘their owners ‘?
Like puppies they heeled.
