We all cross Grace Avenue on a daily basis to get around town. But, I’m sure you will agree that it’s harder and harder to cross Grace Avenue safely with the passage of countless vehicles that do not understand that this is a residential neighborhood.
The intersection of Grace Avenue and Park Place is especially dangerous since there are no controls to make vehicles stop for people in the crosswalk, whether it be babies and caretakers, youngsters, elderly and disabled persons, or adults.
We urge you to join our initiatives to make a SAFE Great Neck Plaza by signing our petition to promote awareness of the safety concerns on Grace Avenue, and specifically at Grace Avenue and Park Place.
