It has been an honor and a privilege to have had Steve Barnwell as a friend and neighbor for the past 20-plus years.
Steve not only brings his experience of being a former Nassau County DA and his present position of being the Judge for Mineola, but he also brings his hallmark qualities of common sense and honesty to the bench. He has given us solid, intelligent counsel on more than one occasion on a variety of issues.
On a more personal note, I can vouch for the fact that Steve has a heart of gold given his special relationship with my son Brian who has Autism. He has helped us out more than he knows at several crucial times, just by being open, friendly and accepting to him.
Steve Barnwell is a good neighbor and a wonderful family man who cares about our community. He will be an excellent choice to return as Mineola Village Justice.
