For those who have not had the opportunity to meet or get to know Brian as myself and others know him, he is my husband and the father of my children.
Sure that makes me biased to some degree but if anyone is equipped to speak to the person Brian Herrington is it’s me.
Brian is the youngest of 4 boys and was raised here on Long Island by two hard-working parents who instilled in him a strong moral compass and work ethic, a skill set he carries with him today. A man who takes his commitments seriously and doesn’t volunteer unless he knows he can give 110 percent.
Brian is a man of his word and integrity. He is honest and fair. If he says he is going to do something it gets done. He is not afraid of a challenge and often welcomes them. He is kind, giving and compassionate of himself and his time.
Regardless of the lies Kate continues to share, Brian does not have a mean bone in his body. He is the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back and think nothing of it. The kind of guy who runs out in the middle of a storm to drive around and make sure the grounds crew is safe and to help wherever he could.
Someone who advocated tirelessly for the village residents when they were without power for days and didn’t give up until he was sure power was restored to all residents.
He is a leader not just in his work but as a parent and coach. He sets expectations and holds people accountable.
Above all what I love him the most for, is being the best dad and role model for my children. He teaches them the value of working hard, teaches them to respect themselves and others and still finds the time to have a catch, play a board game and coach their teams.
Regardless of the mistruths shared about him he holds his head up high and takes the high road.
It’s easy to sling mud and makeup lies with nothing to back them up but anyone who knows Brian knows that the character traits listed above describe the real Brian Herrington.
