Please join me in voting to elect Wayne Wink, by far our best choice for Town Supervisor. It is a privilege to support a friend of all of us who has worked with us to make our town better. I know Wayne and have personally witnessed him working diligently over the past 20 years making Port a better place for us all to live. So many of us have known Wayne and worked with him because Wayne knows Port, has lived in Port and spends much time here. He not only listens and speaks with us but tirelessly works to get things done demonstrating his genuine and sincere caring to do the right thing. Wayne gets us the results we want and need for the quality of life issues.
Wayne has been working for and accomplishing so many vital aspects that it is hard to look around and not find his accomplishments. A most recent project is actually taking place right now. We have been long awaiting the Mill Pond Road and sidewalk restoration and reconfiguration. Over 10 years of delays for this upgrade, but after a call to Wayne a month ago the work is now progressing. So many of us have worked with Wayne and now count him as friend because Wayne has always been approachable and open to making life all around Port and the Town better and safer for all its residents.
Wayne has fostered a close working relationship with those in all levels of Government and truly on all sides of the political spectrum. His keen sense of what is right and fair has fostered the trust he so much deserves. Wayne too has kept a keen eye on the economics and made strides that earned the Town its high financial ratings and still Wayne keeps his eye out for lowering costs to make us more efficient and secure.
Wayne is an experienced professional with a legal background who will act and create policies that reflect not only the letter of the law, but the spirit of the law and work with people to get things done.
