Two Rockettes from Long Island plan to stop by the Manhasset Public Library on Friday, Sept. 14, from 4 to 5 p.m. for a craft hour, giving residents a chance to meet and greet members of the legendary dance company.

Children and families will be able to decorate festive jars and take photos with Tara Dunleavy-Tubridy and Kristen Grace Smith, two Rockettes who are from Oceanside and Malverne, respectively.

Every September before the “Christmas Spectacular” season begins, the Rockettes visit local towns and villages to engage with fans.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
