Call for entries for Clark Botanic Garden photo exhibit

As part of Clark Botanic Garden’s upcoming 50th Anniversary celebration in 2019, North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, the Town Board and the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department are calling for entries to be featured in a photo exhibit to illustrate the beauty of Clark Botanic Garden over the past 50 years.  Submissions are being accepted until January 18, 2019 and will be on display next spring in the Clark House.

How to submit:

One photo can be submitted per person

Digital photos can be emailed to Photos@northhempsteadny.gov

In the body of the email please include:

-Photographer’s name

-Contact information

-Place of residence

-When the photo was taken

-Brief description of the photo

Physical copies of photos can be dropped off at the Clark House at Clark Botanic Garden, 193 I.U. Willets Road, Albertson. Please include the above information if dropping off a copy of the photo. 

 Entries will be accepted now until January 18, 2019. 

 Founded in 1969, Clark Botanic Garden (CBG) is a 12-acre living museum and educational facility dedicated to understanding and appreciating the world’s plant life through horticulture, education and research. In 2019 CBG will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary. The Town is planning a year-long celebration filled with events, workshops and special guest lecturers to help commemorate the landmark anniversary.
