Belmont University

Michael Ottavio of Manhasset spent his summer traveling the world for college credit. Ottavio spent time in Belmont’s Ireland & Northern Ireland program for college credit this summer.

Loyola University Maryland

The following students have been named to the university’s dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester: Diandra Burton and Helena Sanders of Port Washington; Peter Dunn and Gabriella Young of New Hyde Park; Julian Pagan of Mineola; Andrew Sluka of Roslyn Heights; and Jillian Broderick, Kayleigh Caggiano, Thomas Carroll, Brian Gallagher, Natalie Labib, Samantha Lulov, Caitlin O’Connor and Samantha Zenobio of Manhasset. In order to qualify for the dean’s list at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Miami University

Karmiella and Rachel Ferster of Great Neck both earned degrees from the university following the spring 2019 semester.

New York Institute of Technology

The following student-athlete’s have been named to the ECC commissioner’s honor roll list for the 2019-2020 school year: Andrew Pereira of Mineola; Martin Sundell, Ivana Andric, and Antonella Lopez Alcerro of Old Westbury; Anne Marie Ardito of Manhasset; and Brian Hoerter of New Hyde Park. Student-athletes who earned at least a 3.25 GPA for the academic year earned the honor.

Purchase College

The following students have been named to the school’s dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester: Alex Isaacson, James O’Sullivan, and Daniel Salvatierra of Port Washington; John Gould of New Hyde Park; Stephanie Farber of Roslyn Heights and Megan Fox of Manhasset. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs.

Trinity College

Lindsay Allison Miller of Manhasset earned a BA in political science from the school following the spring 2019 semester.
