Join top physicians as they discuss the latest advancements and treatment options at the inaugural Long Island Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell on Saturday, Nov. 10.
The daylong event, which begins at 9 a.m. on the campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead (500 Hofstra Blvd.), is sponsored by Northwell Health and Susan G. Komen Greater NYC.
The conference will focus on treatment, clinical trials, rehabilitation, survivorship and other important issues facing women with metastatic breast cancer.
Komen Greater NYC CEO Linda McNeil Tantawi will provide opening remarks and Antoinette Truglio Martin, author of “Hug Everyone You Know: A Year of Community, Courage and Cancer” is the keynote speaker.
Experts from the Northwell Health Cancer Institute include: Dr. Beatrice Bloom, Dr. Patrick Brogan, Dr. Jane Carleton, Dr. Kit Cheng, Dr. James D’Olimpio, Dr. Deborah Gruber, Dr. Susan Maltser, Dr. George Raptis, Dr. May Lim and Dr. Vincent Vinciguerra.
