Joseph Sassoon of Great Neck was awarded an Edward Guiliano Global Fellowship to travel to Minneapolis in March. Sassoon will pursue a five-day experience to test a revolutionary technology potentially useful in treating patients with diabetes. Sassoon is working on a M.S. in bioengineering.
