Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink and Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman were on hand as piles of toys were collected from donations made by Town employees as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Town employees were asked to bring in an unwrapped toy to donate at various locations throughout the Town. Toys for Tots is a program hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to provide Christmas gifts for children throughout the United States. The annual collection drive begins in October and culminates with a distribution campaign in December.
