North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Peter Zuckerman and Town Clerk Wayne Wink attended the first free dental screening at the Viscardi Center on Oct. 26.
To commemorate the event, Town officials presented the Viscardi Center with a citation. Project Accessible Oral Health was held in conjunction with the Nassau County Dental Society. Screenings will give approximately 200 children, adolescents and adults with disabilities the opportunity to connect with local dental practitioners.
