The Village of East Hills is finishing off Labor Day weekend with the village’s first all-day poolside music festival on Monday.

The festival, sponsored by National Grid, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. around the pool at the Park at East Hills on Harbor Hill Road.

Black Tie Stereo takes the stage at 11 a.m., starting the festival with an original set. The band of four men has been playing together since high school and performs songs from all genres.

Rymer was a 2017 Grammy Nominee for Best Children’s Album and received the Parents’ Choice Gold Award in 2016.

Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could fills the second slot at 1 p.m. with music for the whole family that will have children singing and dancing around the pool.

To round out the festival, Uptown Mix closes the night with a three-hour show backed by a big band.

Though Labor Day signals the end of summer, Mayor Michael Koblenz said there are plenty of events to look forward to in the fall.

“As we end the summer for the pool, we begin a fall filled with the ‘Spooktacular’ for our families,” Koblenz said. “Each season in our village has its own special and spectacular events and programs.”
